Bishop G.E. Livingston has been preaching the Gospel since he was licensed in 1989. He was ordained in 1994. He holds a Bachelor of Ministry in Pastoral Ministry, a Master of Arts in Theology, and a Doctor of Divinity.
He is the Assistant Presiding Bishop for the United Covenant Churches of Christ (formerly United Pentecostal Churches of Christ). He is married to Elder Marcia Livingston. To this union were born three daughters – Venitra, Nicole, and Merissa. He has owned several successful businesses. In business, God has taught Bishop Livingston skills that greatly benefit his ministry.
Bishop Livingston served five years as Chaplain for the Illinois Department of Corrections. Then, while serving as Associate Pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church (Decatur, IL), he was elected to serve as Interim Pastor. In 1995, God called Bishop Livingston to found New Dimensions Christian Centre (name later changed to Life Changers Church). Since founding Life Changers Church, the Lord has blessed Bishop Livingston to see over 10,000 souls surrender their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. He has preached on television, radio, and around the country. He has also ministered in Israel, Ghana, Kenya, Pakistan, and the Bahamas. He is the Founder and President of Life Changers International Ministries.
Bishop Livingston has faithfully served his community. Some of his roles have included; Chairman for the Decatur City Planning Commission, Chairman of the Decatur Civil Service Commission, President of Macon Resources, Inc. (a multi-million dollar non-profit agency providing assistance and training to physically and mentally disabled persons), President of the Boys and Girls Club of Decatur, Director and Chairman of the Business and Downtown Committee for the Community Investment Corporation of Decatur, Chairman of the Board of the Minority Business Network, Inc., Executive Committee Member of the Evangelical Ministerial Association of Decatur, and President of Decatur Community Development Fund. Bishop Livingston is the President/CEO of Robertson Charter School in Decatur, serving over three hundred students and their families, with a staff of forty-seven, and the Chairman of the Board of Life Changers Community Development Corporation and Life Changers Credit Counseling Service.
